Regenerating Brent
The re-building of the national stadium transformed the local area. More than £70m was invested in road, rail, and pedestrian routes, to ensure the infrastructure copes with the influx of fans on event days – and benefits local residents, and businesses all year round.
The Learning Zone
Our educational facility is an innovative and inspirational environment for young people. Based inside the stadium, it offers a range of fun one-day activities, six-week courses and bespoke programmes, as well as a unique venue for workshops, conferences, and celebrations. Wembley National Stadium Trust
We collaborate with Wembley National Stadium Trust to offer grants for sports activities in Brent and across the country. Since 2012, The Trust has provided essential aid to more than 200 organisations to upgrade and sustain their sports initiatives.
Community Support
We’re at the heart of the local community and work closely with different community organisations. Brent has been the home of Wembley Stadium since the iconic venue was built in 1923. Some of the organisations we work with include:
A family-run business based in Wembley, providing top-quality football coaching for young people of all abilities.
2. Jason Roberts Foundation
Established in 2007 by the former professional footballer, we support many of their different projects. We’re currently supporting the JRF Heritage Project, funded by the National Lottery, called ‘Inspire to Achieve’. The free exhibition is located at the Stadium, outside the West Ticket Office, and celebrates 14 players who grew up in the Wembley area and highlights how they have paved the way to inspire younger generations in the local area. There are QR panels that goes alongside that tells the stories of each player.
3. SUFRA Food Bank
Sufra NW London is a local charity, based on St. Raphael’s Estate, Brent’s most disadvantaged neighbourhood. Their Community Hub serves families living in extreme poverty and people who are vulnerable, homeless, and socially isolated.
4. The SPACE
The SPACE is a community organisation that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people via peer support, access to therapy and advocating. They also support vulnerable people and local families hit by the cost-of-living crisis through a food and clothes bank, as well as providing baby essentials. We are supporting their Baby Bank, Kid’s activities, and Adult Classes, which are currently based at the Vale Community Church, in Brent.
Wembley Stadium Tours
We offer discounted Tours to local residents. These can be booked, using the code ‘BRENT30’. We offer complimentary tours to local charities, community groups and schools.
Community Box
Wembley Stadium has a private box which is available to community groups and charities across the UK.
The 12-seater Community Box is available, free of charge, to groups for a selection of events held at the stadium throughout 2023 and beyond.
It includes complimentary food and wine with access available two hours before each event so guests can enjoy the full Wembley experience.
